Drew Kadel has been the director of St. Mark’s Library since 2003. He has focused on building a service oriented staff and planning for the new library. He has also led in the establishment of The Friends of St. Mark’s Library. Before coming to GTS, Drew was a librarian and interim Director at the Burke Library of Union Theological Seminary and the Director of the Library at Wesley Theological Seminary. Among his publications is Matrology (Continuum, 1995) a bibliographic and reference guide to all the writings of Christian women before 1500. He is active in the American Theological Library Association and has chaired both the Public Services and the Collection Evaluation and Development interest groups.

Drew is active as an assisting priest at the Church of the Holy Apostles, Manhattan.
