Associated Canadian Theological Schools (ACTS)
The Associated Canadian Theological Schools, more commonly known as ACTS, was founded in 1988 with the purpose of preparing students for leadership roles in the Christian church. ACTS is a consortium of five seminaries, which together make up the Graduate School of Theological Studies at Trinity Western University. These seminaries are the Canadian Baptist Seminary, the Canadian Pentecostal Seminary, the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary, the Northwest Baptist Seminary, and the Trinity Western Seminary. Degrees are issued jointly by Trinity Western University and the graduating student’s particular seminary. Classes are held on the campus of Trinity Western University, in Langley, British Columbia, which is approximately 45 minutes southeast of downtown Vancouver. Currently, there are between 300 and 400 students enrolled at ACTS.
