The Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary is located in Austin, TX. It was founded by Dr. Robert Lewis Dabney and Rev. Richard Kelley Smoot in 1902 as an educational institute under the Presbyterian Church of the United States. APTS offers Masters Degrees in Divinity, Theological Studies for non-ordained leaders of the church and a Doctorate of Ministry. They also offer a Dual Degree Program with the University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work. Students enrolled in the Dual Degree Program may complete a Masters in Divinity and Master of Science in Social Work concurrently. Students wishing to enroll in the Dual Degree Program must meet criteria from both schools before being accepted into this program.
