Beeson Divinity School, Samford University
The Beeson Divinity School is located at Samford University in Birmingham, AL. It was established in 1988 as The School of Divinity and later that semester named after Ralph Waldo Beeson, who provided the largest monetary gift from a living individual to form the school. The Beeson Divinity School offers Masters Degrees in Divinity as well as Theological Studies and a Doctorate of Ministry. Joint degree programs at Samford include: Master of Divinity with Master of Business Administration, Master of Divinity with Master of Science in Education, Master of Divinity with Doctor of Jurisprudence, and Master of Divinity with Master of Music. These joint degrees must be completed concurrently.
