In addition to teaching at Biblical, Dr. Lim is assistant professor of Old Testament at Seattle Pacific University. He has taught at North Park University and pastored Korean-American congregations for several years. Because of his background and life experiences, Bo brings a pastoral heart and cultural sensitivity to the classroom. Dr. Lim’s research interests include Israelite Prophets, Eschatology, Asian-American Biblical Interpretation, Missional Hermeneutics, and the Theological Interpretation of Scripture. He is currently working on the publication of his dissertation, The ‘Way of the LORD’ in the Book of Isaiah (T & T Clark, forthcoming). Dr. Lim actively ministers to Asian-American congregations and invests in the development of emerging leaders. He views his scholarship and teaching as a means to enable to the church to live out its missional calling.
