Brite Divinity School is part of Texas Christian University in the Fort Worth/Dallas Metroplex area in Texas and offers graduate and doctoral education in theology and church ministry. Brite’s mission statement expresses its goals to prepare men and women to be leaders and witnesses of God in the ministry, academics, and public life. Students gain their education through scholarship, research/reflection, community service, and ministry experience. The school’s academic program offers four Master degrees in divinity, theological studies, arts in Christian service, and theology; Doctorate degrees are given in ministry and philosophy. Brite has a diverse student population, and other academic programs include Black Church Studies, Jewish Studies, and Asian Church Studies. Brite oversees two schools, Stalcup School and Pastoral Care Center. The TCU mascot is a frog.
