/In 1985, Dave, his wife Cathy, and a team of grads from Liberty started New Life Church in Columbus, Ohio with twelve people in their basement. The church grew to nearly 2,000 in attendance each week with 125 small groups, and 70% of the members in ministry. After 20 years of senior pastoral ministry Dave returned to Lynchburg, VA to direct the Lovett Center for Ministry Training as well as the Liberty Center for Church
//Prior to launching New Life Church, Dave was President of Change a Nation, which developed church planting teams. He also served as Director of Discipleship for Liberty University. He has trained thousands of pastors as a national seminar presenter with Church Growth Seminars. Dave has written ten books and several church health resources.
Dave’s passion is a vibrant personal adventure with God. He has authored several books, including 21 Reasons Bad Things Happen to Good People, The 21 Most Effective Prayers in the Bible, Living In His Presence: The Immanuel Factor, The 21 Most Amazing Truths About Heaven, and The 21 Most Encouraging Promises in the Bible.
As a nationally recognized expert on small group ministry, he has written several popular books for small group leaders: Eight Habits of Effective Small Group Leaders, A Pocket-Guide to Leading Small Groups, and Turning Members into Leaders .
As a free-lance artist, Dr. Earley also enjoys the creative side of prayer, worship, ministry, and leadership.
Dave and his wife Cathy have three highly active sons who are all students at Liberty this fall. They enjoy biking, hiking, sports, and art.
