Dr. Horn is the Director of the Ockenga Institute and the Semlink program of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. His responsibilities involve oversight over multiple centers and programs involved in the seminary’s commitment to offering theological education to a variety of constituencies beyond the traditional student body. A significant amount of his time is dedicated to the development and management of online theological education. He also has direct oversight over the Shoemaker Center for Church Renewal and the Center for Christian Youth.

Dr. Horn also has experience in campus ministry. For several years, he was an administrator in the Student Development and Campus Ministry Offices of Gordon College. He has also worked as the Campus Pastor and as Director of Residential Life at Bethel College and has taught English.

Dr. Horn writes and speaks on issues related to practical theology and sociology of religion. Previously, he served on the pastoral staff of First Congregational Church in Hamilton, MA, and continues to be actively involved in the leadership and teaching ministries of the church.
