Dr. Walker has taught Historical Theology and New Testament at City Seminary of Sacramento since 2000. Previously, he had pastored churches in Ohio and California. He also served for thirteen years as the Stated Clerk of the Synod of the Reformed Church in the United States.

He received his B.A. in Biblical Studies (cum laude) from Covenant College, his M.Div. from the Theological Seminary of the Reformed Episcopal Church, his Th.M. in Theological Interpretation and Ph.D. in Christian Intellectual Thought from Whitefield Theological Seminary. Ordained to the gospel ministry in 1986, he serves as associate pastor of Covenant Reformed Church in Sacramento, CA, and teaches church history, Greek and New Testament at City Seminary.
