The Rev. Ron Gough is an Ordained Elder with 23 years of experience in the pastoral ministry, and he is presently serving as a pastor in Parrottsville, TN. Dr. Gough has also been an instructor in New Testament Greek and Theology in college and seminary. He taught Classical Hebrew and Babylonian cuneiform, the former also in an adjunct relationship with Jamestown College, Jamestown, ND. Among languages he has studied are English, Spanish, Greek,Hebrew, Aramaic, and Syriac. He has traveled in Japan, Korea, England,Africa, and Palestine. Among his interests and specializations are the Theology of Paul Tillich, Biblical Archaeology, Biblical Languages, Ethics, the Sacraments, and Rural Ministry. Among his awards are: 1976, 2nd ed., Who’s Who in Religion in America; 1978, Outstanding Young Man of America; 1990, the Harry H. Denham Award in Evangelism (ND); and 1973, Eta Beta Rho, National Honor Society for Excellence in Hebraic Studies (ESR). Gough earned the A.B. (cum laude) from Milligan College, Milligan, TN., the M.Div. from Emmanuel School of Religion, Johnson City, TN. He earned the D.Min. from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN., and the S.T.D. from San Francisco Theological Seminary, San Anselmo, CA.
