Associate dean for admissions and student services, Ms. Jordan’s teaching and research interests are in womanist theological perspectives, theomusicology, Negro Spirituals, and the praxis of ministry. In the summer of 2008 Ms Jordan offered an introductory course focused on womanist theological perspectives.

Her publications include the study guide to Setting the Table: Women in Theological Conversation, ed. Rita Nakashima Brock, Louis: Chalice Press, 1995) and the essay, “The Lord’s Supper,” co-authored with Stephanie A. Paulsell in Chalice Introduction to Disciples Theology, ed. Peter G. Heltzel (St. Louis: Chalice Press, 2008).

An ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Ms. Jordan has considerable leadership and administrative experience in theological education and the church. She joined the PTS faculty and staff in 2007.
