Langham Literature

Langham Literature is a division of the Langham Partnership International, which came into being through the merger of John Stott’s Evangelical Literature Trust and the Langham Trust In 2001.

It works in three areas:

• Distribution: It coordinates the distribution of theological books and Bible commentaries to libraries, scholars and pastors in the Majority World.

• Creation: It encourages, supports and advises evangelical authors and publishers in the Majority World. Besides working with individual authors and publishers, it coordinates large projects such as the Africa Bible Commentary (now available in English, French, Portuguese, and Swahili), the South Asia Bible Commentary, a Latin America Bible commentary, and an Arabic Bible Commentary and is helping to establish the HippoBooks imprint produced by a consortium of African publishers. It is also developing the Global Christian Library, a set of books on important issues by theologians from around the world.

• Publishing: Langham Monographs provides a print-on-demand service for selected dissertations and books by Majority World scholars. Under the Langham Preaching Resources imprint, Langham publishes books to encourage biblical preaching across the world.
