After completing his theological studies at the Dominican House of Studies, Fr. Lawrence J. Donohoo was ordained in 1985. From 1986 to 1990 he served as instructor of philosophy (ethics) and religious studies at Providence College. In 1991 he began doctoral theological studies at the University of Munich. While there, he worked regularly in a Catholic parish and offered occasional lectures on philosophical and theological topics. In 1995 he returned to Washington to teach at the Dominican House of Studies, where he taught twelve different courses in systematic, fundamental, and moral theology. He now teaches ten courses in systematic theology at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD. On weekends he serves eleven churches in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. In addition to his theological and philosophical publications, his poems have appeared in various collections.
