As RPTS has one of the largest percentages of African-American students of any Reformed seminary, Dr. Walker brings a helpful perspective on Black Church History for course offerings to students. Among his many ministry experiences, he has served in Pittsburgh as Vice Moderator at Large, Allegheny-Union Baptist Association, and Vice President-Chairman, Evangelistic Commission, Baptist Ministers’ Conference. Dr. Walker authored The Black Church, and wrote eight representative articles on church and society for the Pittsburgh Courier.
