Mark George teaches Hebrew Bible. His areas of interest include the narrative and wisdom texts of the Hebrew Bible as well as contemporary methodological approaches to the text, particularly methods and approaches concerned with bridging literary readings with material culture. He is currently working on a book examining how Israel’s tabernacle narratives in the Book of Exodus reveal the ways in which social space was produced in antiquity.
