Mary Anne Knefel has been at the University of Dubuque for over 28 years, initially as Reference & Instruction Librarian, then Assistant Director. She was appointed Library Director in 2004. She has taught everyone from first graders to Seminary students how to conduct research. Before UDTS, she worked at the Carnegie-Stout Public Library in Dubuque, the Library of the Health Sciences at University of Illinois-Rockford, and Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. She is interested in information literacy and has published and presented on this topic.
