Prior to joining The Master’s Seminary in 1997, Dr. Grisanti taught at Central Baptist Theological Seminary, majoring in the areas of Old Testament Language and Literature. During this time, he also studied at Dallas Theological Seminary, the Institute of Holy Land Studies in Jerusalem, Grace Theological Seminary, Luther Seminary, and the University of Minnesota.

In addition to his educational training, Dr. Grisanti has had extensive pastoral experience, serving as an interim pastor, children’s pastor, and church planter. While at Central, he also taught seminary courses and preached on trips to Romania from 1993-96. Snce coming to TMS, he continues to be active in overseas ministry. He has taught in Colombia and Honduras a number of times as well as ministering in Albania, France, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Russia, and Ukraine.

Dr. Grisanti has written numerous journal and periodical articles and assisted in various editorial projects including contributions to The New International Dictionary of Old Testament Theology and Exegesis (Zondervan, 1997) and Eerdman’s Dictionary of the Bible. He contributed the material on Samuel and Kings for the 2nd volume of the Bible Knowledge Key Word Study set published by Cook. His commentary on Deuteronomy in the revised Expositor’s Bible Commentary is forthcoming and he has other writing projects in process.
