Steve also works with emerging leaders, congregations and partnerships by helping to make connections, provide resources and opening space for young leaders. His mission is to “create space where the Spirit can move individuals and communities into what God is inviting. Steve enjoys the diversity of people he gets to meet and work with, and trying to connect the historic Anabaptist perspective and community with contemporary reality.

Steve has worked for Mennonite Publishing House as an editor and pastored in Johnstown and New York City. He also was executive director for PULSE/MennoCorps. Steve began his work with the Franconia conference in the summer of 2005. He serves as a frequent instructor at seminaries in the Philadelphia region.
