Namsoon Kang is Associate Professor of World Christianity and Religions at Brite Divinity School, Texas Christian University, Texas Christian University, USA. She taught at Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge, UK, and Methodist Theological Seminary, Seoul Korea. She has been actively involved in global ecumenical and peace movement. She studied theology in Korea, Germany, and the US with her Ph.D from Drew University, USA. She is currently the vice-president of WOCATI (World Conference of Associations of Theological Institutions), and co-moderator of CATS (Congress of Asian Theologians). She has published three books on feminist theological discourses in Korean, and a number of articles in English including the most recent article, “Toward Healing and Reconciliation of Regardless: Radicalizing Christian Mission for Today” and “Who/What is Asian?: A Postcolonial Theological Reading of Orientalism and Neo-Orientalism.”
