Prior to coming toAmbrose Seminaryin 2005, Rick, his wife, and their four children lived in Manila, Philippines. While there, Rick spent 11 years on the faculty of the Alliance Biblical Theological Seminary. From 1999-2005 he also taught part-time for the Asia Graduate School of Theology in the Master of Theology in Old Testament and the Doctor of Education programs. While in Manila he spent a significant amount of time mentoring students and reading theses prepared for various Masters and Doctoral degrees. Rick has taught widely in the area of Old Testament literature and language. His current area of research interests include: Biblical Theology of Suffering and Old Testament Prayer. Rick is an ordained minister with the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
