Raju Kunjummen is Associate Professor of Biblical Languages and Old Testament at Michigan Theological Seminary. His academic backgrounds are in science (Biochemistry Phil., University of Minnesota), Biblical studies (Th M, Grace Theological Seminary), and Semitic languages and literature (MA & C. Phil., UCLA).

Prof. Kunjummen has also participated in three seasons of archaeological excavations at Mozan (ancient Urkesh) in Syria. He is a member of several professional societies dealing with biblical studies. His research interests span Greek and Hebrew grammar, hermeneutics and exegesis, and exegetical theology.

Prof. Kunjummen and his wife Susan have four children. He is a pastor-elder at Lakeside Bible Chapel in Sterling Heights, MI, and gives some of his spare time to helping with science and math extra-curricular activities in his children’s schools.
