Dr. Scott Coupland is an Associate Professor of Counseling and Academic Director of the M.A. in Counseling degree program at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. He received master’s degrees from Friends University and Colorado Christian University, and a Ph.D. in marriage and family therapy from Texas Tech University. His teaching at RTS is enriched by more than thirteen years of clinical experience in medical school, hospital, university, and church settings. He has authored articles published in several professional journals such as the Journal of Marriage and Family Therapy and the Journal of Psychology and Christianity. He is a clinical member and approved supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and as a licensed marriage and family therapist he maintains an active private practice. He is married to Joan and they have two children, Brynne and Cami.
