Mr. Thomas G. Ewald is Professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling at Lincoln Christian Seminary. He served as Dean of Students and professor of psychology of Lincoln Christian College for 27 years beginning in l966. During that same time he taught a number of other courses as well as several Seminary courses including Abnormal Psychology. He graduated from Lincoln Christian College in 1960. He earned an M.A. in New Testament in 1964 and an M. Div. in New Testament and Theology in 1969 from Lincoln Christian Seminary. He received an M.S. in Educational and Clinical Psychology from Indiana University in 1966. In l962 he traveled through Europe and the Near East on a three month study tour. He has lead or co-lead five trips to the Holy Land, Europe, and the Middle East. He was Youth Minister with the First Christian Church in Greenville, Illinois for two years 1958-59. He ministered for five years from 1960-65 with the Christian Church in Brownstown, Illinois and has helped start four new churches in Illinois. He has served as Elder and Chairman of Elders in the Jefferson Street Christian Church in Lincoln. He has served several churches in central Illinois as their interim minister.

He has served on the board of directors of Mental Health Centers of Central Illinois, Lincoln Pastoral Counseling Services Board, and the Human Rights board of the Lincoln Development Center. He has served on the board of Pioneer Bible Translators and conducted the psychological testing of all the PBT recruits since 1984. He served on thirteen college evaluation teams for the Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges (now named the Association of Biblical Higher Education, ABHE).

He has been a featured speaker for the North American Christian Convention, the Eastern Christian Convention, Iowa State and Minnesota State Conventions, and Salvation Army Youth Conventions throughout the southern states,. He has conducted spiritual life crusades on six different Christian College campuses and delivered the Staley Distinguished Scholar Lecture at Milligan College. He has taught classes at Florida Christian College, Eastern Christian College, and Briercrest College and Seminary, Caronport, Saskatchewan Canada. He and his wife conduct Marriage and Family Enrichment retreats and seminars.
