Warren Eshbach is the former Dean of Graduate Studies at Susquehanna Valley Ministry Center on the campus of Elizabethtown College, a center for theological, ministerial and leadership education related to the Church of the Brethren. It is a partnership between Bethany Seminary and four Church of the Brethren districts. He also served as the Director of Pastoral Care at the Brethren Home Community and was the District Executive for the Southern Pennsylvania Church of the Brethren. He received his Doctor of Ministry degree in 1993 from McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago, M.Div. from Gettysburg Seminary; and Bachelors degree from Gettysburg College. He teaches Congregational Ministry Leadership and Authority, Integrative Seminar I, and “Strangers, Friends and Kin: Interchangeable Ministries.”

Dr. Eshbach has been active in the controversy surrounding “intelligent design” discussions in the Dover, PA school system. He has appeared on broadcast television, testified at the state level, and quoted in the New York Times (January 16, 2005)
